Janet Lee Ford Brewer Pipkin, 65, passed away Feb. 21, 2018, at Baptist Memorial Hospital East in Memphis, Tenn.

She was born Jan. 23, 1953, to Leo Wesley Ford and Irene Elizabeth Vanoy Ford in Stillwater, Okla.

Janet was an enthusiastic school teacher for many years. Upon retirement, many hours were spent making baby blankets, “playing in the dirt with her flowers,” and running her very successful homemade soap business. Her family was the joy of her life, especially her children and grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Friday, Feb. 23, 2018, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Seven Oaks Funeral Home in Water Valley, Miss.  Funeral services will be held at Coffeeville United Methodist Church on Saturday, Feb. 24, 2018, at 1 p.m.  Burial will be in the Dividing Ridge Cemetery.

Janet is survived by her husband, Edward Pipkin of Coffeeville, Miss.; one daughter; nine sons; one brother; two sisters; and fourteen grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Melvin “Bubba” Brewer.
