Marye ‘Mickee’ Boyd, 85, passed away Saturday, March 17, 2018. Mickee lived in Oxford from 1999 to 2014 with her husband, Dick, who survives. Her death ended their marriage of 64 years. She was a member of St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, where she served as clerk of the Vestry for several years. An avid tennis player and sports fan; she and Dick were regularly in attendance at Ole Miss men’s and women’s basketball games and baseball games. A former reading teacher in Ohio elementary schools, Mickee was an avid reader and a member of a S1. Peter’s women’s book club. She is survived by daughters Lynne Delong, Julie Ross and Stephanie Boyd. A son, Michael, preceded her in death.
