An Oxford man bit a cop while he was being arrested on a charge of domestic violence last week.

According to the Oxford Police Department, Sagan Boehm, 22, of Oxford was being arrested on Wednesday, March 28, during a domestic violence call when he allegedly bit the arresting officer on the arm.

After his arrest, it was determined that Boehm has been arrested on two previous charges of domestic violence, making Wednesday’s arrest his third domestic violence charge, which is a felony.

He was also charged with simple assault on a law enforcement officer and taken to the Lafayette County Detention Center where he was booked on a $25,000 bond.
