The Oxford Police Department was called out to The Links apartments on Monday for a report of domestic violence.

After an investigation, officers arrested Demarkous Dennis, 25, of Oxford and charged him with domestic violence with aggravated assault, which is a felony offense.

He was taken to the Lafayette County Detention Center where he was booked on a $10,000 bond.
