Mr. Roy M. Tomlinson, 91, of Millington, Tennessee, formerly of Como, Mississippi, passed away on Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at Millington Healthcare Center.

He was born in Faulkner, Mississippi on Dec. 6, 1926, to Mattie Mercer and James Albert Tomlinson.

Mr. Tomlinson was a member of Harmontown Baptist Church.

He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force and was a veteran of WWII.

A retired commercial HVAC technician, he had a strong work ethic and was a hard worker. He cared deeply for his family and friends and will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.

Mr. Tomlinson is survived by his loving family, which includes his wife of 70 years, Ada Maxine Tomlinson of Millington; one daughter, Paula Larrain Greenwood of Atlanta; one son, Randy Tomlinson and his wife Sandra, of Millington; four grandchildren, Jason, Chris, Ashley, and Ronda; and six great-grandchildren, Ambrielle, Kaden, Tristyn, Moira, Nylah and Finn.  He was preceded in death by his parents.  Memorial contributions may be sent to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.  Ray-Nowell Funeral Home – Senatobia Chapel has charge of arrangements.
