Steven Daniel Rumfelt, age 35, died Saturday, May 12, 2018 at Baptist Memorial Hospital-North Mississippi in Oxford.

He was born Sept. 22, 1982 in Memphis to Fred Raymond Rumfelt and Joey Annette Waddell.

Simpson and was self-employed in construction work.  He enjoyed camping and spending time with his family.  Steven was baptized in the faith of Christ and was a Baptist.

The family will be holding a memorial service in his honor at a later date.  Seven Oaks Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Steven is survived by his wife, Jennifer Rumfelt of Water Valley, Mississippi; three daughters, Megan Hillegas,  Breanna Hillegas and Destiny Schmitz, all of Water Valley; a son, Logan Rumfelt of Water Valley; three sisters, Jeannie Carter, Ginger (Danny) McCreless, and Carmen Rumfelt, all of Slayden, Mississippi; three brothers, Tad (Katie) Rumfelt of Mount Pleasant, Mississippi, Robert (Amy) Allen of Slayden, and Kelly Allen Waddell of  Texas; his father, Fred (Brenda) Rumfelt of Lamar, Mississippi; and his mother, Joey (Dale) Simpson of Water Valley.
