New students to the OSD can begin registering June 1

Students entering grades 1-12 who are new to the Oxford School District can begin the registration process for the 2017-2018 school year starting June 1.

New students — students who did not attend school in the Oxford School District at the end of the 2016-2017 school year — can complete the student registration application online and drop off required registration documents. School officials say these two steps are needed to complete the OSD student registration process for the upcoming school year.

All required registration documents for new students should be delivered to the OSD Student Registration Office, 409 Washington Avenue in Oxford, Monday through Friday between the office hours of  8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Before dropping off registration documents, school officials encourage parents to first enroll their child by completing the district’s online student registration application.

All new students are encouraged to complete enrollment by July 23, 2018, and must complete enrollment no later than August 1, 2018, in order to ensure class assignments, schedules, one-to-one devices, and transportation services are available on the first day of school.

If parents or families need access to computers to register their child online, the school district will offer assistance. Beginning July 17, families can visit the OSD Student Registration Office where computers and technology support are available weekdays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
