Holly Springs man Arrested for Possession of a Stolen Firearm

On Sunday, June 17, 2018, at 12:27 AM, an officer with the Oxford Police Department made a traffic stop on a vehicle operating without headlights. A search of the vehicle uncovered a firearm under the driver’s seat which ended up being a reported stolen gun from Oxford. The driver, Malique Nunnally (18 of Holly Springs, MS), was arrested and transported to the Lafayette County Detention Center where he was booked for possession of a stolen firearm, no driver’s license, no headlights, and no insurance. His bond was set at $2,500 by a Justice Court Judge.
Malique Nunnally, 18, of Holly Springs, was arrested on Sunday, June 17 at 12:27 a.m. following a routine traffic stop. An officer with the Oxford Police Department stopped Nunnally’s vehicle for driving without headlights, but a search of the vehicle uncovered a firearm under the driver’s seat, which ended up being a reported stolen gun from Oxford.
Nunnally was arrested and transported to the Lafayette County Detention Center where he was booked for possession of a stolen firearm, no driver’s license, no headlights and no insurance. His bond was set at $2,500 by a Justice Court judge.
