Holly Springs man Arrested for Possession of a Stolen Firearm

Malique Nunnally, 18, of Holly Springs, was arrested on Sunday, June 17 at 12:27 a.m. following a routine traffic stop. An officer with the Oxford Police Department stopped Nunnally’s vehicle for driving without headlights, but a search of the vehicle uncovered a firearm under the driver’s seat, which ended up being a reported stolen gun from Oxford.
Nunnally was arrested and transported to the Lafayette County Detention Center where he was booked for possession of a stolen firearm, no driver’s license, no headlights and no insurance. His bond was set at $2,500 by a Justice Court judge.
