UPD investigating strong-arm robbery near the Inn at Ole Miss over weekend

The University of Mississippi Police department is searching for a person of interest following a strong-arm robbery near the Inn at Ole Miss.
The incident occurred on Saturday, June 23 at approximately 4 a.m. The victim, who is not a student, did not sustain serious injury and is safe and recovering, according to a statement from the university.
UPD Chief Ray Hawkins said that, while no arrests have been made yet, the department is hard at work.
“We have some people of interest that we are trying to identify and locate,” Hawkins said in a statement to the EAGLE.
