Ole Miss releases 2019 football schedule

The 2018 football season is only three weeks old, but teams can now look ahead to 2019. The Southeastern Conference announced their football schedules for next year of all 14 teams on Tuesday.

Next season includes 14 playing dates and Ole Miss will have two open dates on their schedule.

The Rebels will open next season on the road against Memphis at the Liberty Bowl on Aug. 31. The rest of their non-conference slate includes home games against Southeastern Louisiana (Sept. 14), California (Sept. 21) and New Mexico State (Nov. 9).

The home opener will be against Arkansas on Sept. 7. Other home SEC opponents include Vanderbilt (Oct. 6), Texas A&M (Oct. 19) and LSU (Nov. 16).

The Rebels’ SEC road games include trips to Alabama (Sept. 28), Missouri (Oct. 12), Auburn (Nov. 2) and Mississippi State on Thanksgiving (Nov. 28) for the annual Egg Bowl.

Ole Miss’ two bye weeks will be Oct. 26 and Nov. 23.
