Funeral services for Ben Fisher, Jr. will be Saturday, Oct. 6, 2018  at 11 a.m. at Church of Living God (320 Stockard Road, Thaxton, MS 38871).

Ben was born in Rockford, Ill. on July 29, 1963 to the late Benjamin Fisher, Sr. and Annie Lee Fisher.

Ben professed a hope in Jesus Christ at an early age. He was baptized at Silent Grove Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Reverend Ezra Towner, Sr. He later joined Church of the Living God and remained there until his passing.

He leaves to mourn his passing one son, Benjamin N. Fisher of Oxford; siblings W.L Haygood of Clarksdale, Miss., Shirley Leonard of Memphis, Stanley Vaughn of St Paul, Mn., Elvis (Betty) Vaughn of Marks, Miss, Anthony Daryl (Regina) Fisher of Houston, Texas, Kathy Fisher Gray and Fatima (Darryel) Robinson of Memphis. He also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, cousins, and friends.

Charitable donations can be made in the name of Benjamin Fisher, Jr. to Toccopola’s COTLG- Scholarship Funds. Church of Living God 320, Stockard Road, Thaxton, MS 38871. Flowers may be sent to the funeral home.
