Ms. Carolyn Webb, 85, passed away Monday, Sept. 15, 2018, at Oxford Health and Rehab in Oxford. There are no services planned at this time. Coleman Funeral Home of Oxford is in charge of arrangements.

Ms. Webb was born and raised in Jackson, Miss. She received her Master’s from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Ms. Webb then taught nursing for an impressive 41 years. She has always been an animal lover, especially cats. Ms. Webb’s pride and joy was her cat, CC. After her retirement, she enjoyed taking trips with the Ole Miss Alumni Association overseas. Ms. Webb was also an avid reader.

Ms. Webb is survived by her companion and caregiver, Sue Dabbs of Oxford; one brother-in-law, Alton “Sonny” Clinigan of Jackson; two nieces, Kaye Clinigan of Ridgeland, Miss., and Stephanie Clinigan of California; one nephew, Keith Clinigan of Jackson; and one sister-in-law, Pat Webb of McKinney, Texas.

Ms. Webb was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Webb; her brother, Bobby Webb; and her sister, Margaret Clinigan.
