Oxford Police made over a dozen arrests, including multiple domestic violence arrests, over the holiday weekend.

According to a media release on Wednesday, OPD arrested 14 people this weekend in total. Of those 14 arrests, three were for domestic violence-simple assault.

There were also two separate arrests for simple assault, and two more arrests for public drunk.

The OPD also made two DUI 1^st arrests, with one including failing to yield to emergency vehicle.

OPD also issued 56 tickets, recorded 19 accidents and had 13 reports of suspicious activity over the weekend.
