Ole Miss senior Terence Davis named SEC Player of the Week
Ole Miss guard Terence Davis has followed up an incredible stretch of play with a conference-wide accolade.
The SEC named Davis its Player of the Week on Monday, after the senior from Southaven, averaged 19.5 points, 8.5 rebounds and 2.5 assists in wins over No. 11 Auburn and at No. 14 Mississippi State.
Davis’ 20-point game against Auburn was his 19th of his career and moved him into the top 25 of Ole Miss’ all-time scoring list.
Davis converted 56.0 percent (14-of-25) of his field goals in both games against Auburn and Mississippi State. This is also his second weekly conference accolade after becoming SEC Player of the week as a sophomore.
This marks the second straight week an Ole Miss player was named SEC Player of the Week. Junior guard Breein Tyree was last week’s winner.
