Birl Howard Jr, 61, passed away Saturday, Jan. 19, 2019, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-North Mississippi in Oxford. Services will be on Sunday, Jan. 27, 2019, at 2 p.m. at Salem United Methodist Church. Visitation will be on Saturday, Jan. 26, 2019, from 5-7 p.m. at Serenity Martin Chapel. Burial will follow at Salem United Methodist Church Cemetery.  Serenity Martin Funeral Home is in charge of services. He is survived by a daughter, Amber Howard; step children Tamika Higginbottom, Lakisha Pegues and Gabriel Madlock; brothers, Jessie Howard, William Howard, and Calvin Harmon.
