Obituary – Bonnie Faye Boatright Wolfe

Bonnie Faye Boatright Wolfe, 87, died Monday, Feb. 11, 2019, at the Yalobusha General Hospital in Water Valley, Mississippi. The funeral service will be held Friday, Feb. 15, 2019, at 11 a.m. in the Chapel of Waller Funeral Home with Rev. Gerald Shook officiating. Burial will take place in Oxford Memorial Cemetery following the service. The visitation will be held Thursday, Feb. 14, 2019, from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

Born in Oxford, Mississippi, to the late Malcolm Igyle and Cecil Irene Carroll Boatright, Mrs. Wolfe was a longtime member of Anchor Baptist Church in Oxford. She had retired from being a Bank Teller at the First National Bank in Oxford. Bonnie loved cooking for her family and her favorite thing to make was a chocolate pie. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by two infant sons; two brothers, Ross Nolan Boatright, Sr. and Robert Boatright.

She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Sidney L. Wolfe, of Oxford; daughter, Sidney McCain and her husband, Bobby, of Oxford; son, Martin Lynn Wolfe and his wife, Kathy, of Brandon, Mississippi; six grandchildren, Robby McCain, Mary McCain, Kendra McIntyre, Caitlin Ratliff, Leah Wolfe and Daniel Wolfe; and four great grandchildren.
