James Mize, 72, died Sunday, Feb. 17, 2019, at his home in Water Valley, Mississippi.. He was born August 13, 1946, in Yocona, Mississippi. James worked as a field superintendent in the power generating field.

He enjoyed golfing and fishing. But nothing compared to the love he had for his grandchildren.

James is survived by one daughter, Sabrina Mize of Water Valley; two sisters, Nancy Ferguson and Pam Mills; and four grandchildren, Hayden, Ashlynn, Jayse, and Jax.

Along with his parents, James was preceded in death by his wife Nancy. Seven Oaks was in charge of arrangements.
