Bell to become Oxford Intermediate School principal in 2019-2020

The Oxford School District announced on Monday that Toni Bell will be the new principal for Oxford Intermediate School for 2019-2020. Bell is coming to Oxford from Senatobia, where she is currently the principal at Senatobia Elementary. Bell has also been principal of Senatobia Junior High School.
Bell has held various roles including a Math/Literacy coach, Pre-Algebra teacher and English teacher. Bell has a Masters Degree in Educational Leadership from Arkansas State University and a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education from Delta State University.
“I am honored and humbled to be selected as the Oxford Intermediate School principal. First and foremost, relationships are at the heart of everything I do. I look forward to building and nurturing these relationships with the faculty, staff, students, parents, and all stakeholders of the Oxford community. My vision includes a commitment to excellence and ensuring that all students are prepared for the 21st century,” Bell said in a press release sent out by the school district.
Oxford Intermediate School is currently under the leadership of Steve Hurdle, who will begin his new role in the district as Director of Career & Technical Education in 2019-2020. Bell will begin her work in the district on July 1, 2019.
