Born in Taylor, Mississippi, to the late Carl and Myrtle Bishop Tidwell. Mrs. Knighton worked as a nurse’s aide at Yalobusha County Nursing Home and was a member of Yellow Leaf Baptist Church. Her nurturing spirit continued outside of work and into the lives of her family and those in her community. She enjoyed playing games like Dominos, Bingo and Rummy, and keeping her hobbies well rounded. She also enjoyed worshipping in church and keeping up with her soap operas (especially Days of Our Lives). Above all, her love for her Lord sustained her and she relished in time spent with family.
