Visit Oxford still in need of volunteers for Double Decker Festival

With a little over a week remaining before thousands of people descend onto Oxford’s Downtown Square for the annual Double Decker Festival, there are still needs for volunteers to assist during the two-day event.
Visit Oxford is searching for volunteers to fill slots across different areas, but according to the Double Decker coordinator LeeAnn Stubs, the biggest need is for later in the day on Saturday, April 27. Some of the positions needed include working the merchandise tent and information area, the Square Fair and the Double Decker bus rides.
The Square Fair, which is the children’s area, is in need of workers for for three-hour intervals from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. or 3 to 6 p.m. . Ticket sellers are also needed for the Double Decker bus rides (12 p.m. and 3 p.m.) and all slots are available for sign up.
For the merchandise booth and information area, slots are open for all four shifts (9 a.m. – 12 p.m., 12 – 3 p.m., 3 – 6 p.m., 6 – 9 p.m.) on Saturday as well as Friday.
