A GoFundMe account set up to help cover the funeral expenses for Ally Kostial has surpassed its goal in three days.
On Sunday, Lynn Holler of Kostial’s hometown of St. Louis, Mo., created the account after word spread of Kostial’s death earlier in the day.
“The loss of their beautiful daughter and sister and the manner of their passing must be unbearable,” Holler wrote of the Kostial family on the fundraiser’s page. “Instead of planning for a college graduation they are now planning for a funeral. The funds from this campaign will be used to help bury Ally.”
The goal was set at $10,000 and as of Wednesday afternoon, donations were at $16,380 and counting. To donate, visit gofundme.com/f/help-the-kostial-family-with-funeral-expenses.
