Driver License Stations closed statewide
Mississippi residents in need of renewing or getting a new driver’s license will have to wait until at least Thursday.
The Mississippi Department of Public Safety announced on Wednesday morning all driver license stations across the state are closed for the day until further notice. The closures are due to a system outage. No further information regarding the outage was provided.
The DPS’ Information Technology department is currently working to fix the problem but a time frame of when the system would be restored was not given.
