Billy Lynn Pate, 73, of Oxford died peacefully Tuesday, Oct. 15, 2019, at the Veterans Home in Oxford.  

He was born June 20, 1946 to the late Frank C. and Thelma (Spears) Pate and retired after serving our country twenty-two years in the United States Air Force, including the Vietnam War. There will be a private service celebrating Billy’s life at a later date. Seven Oaks Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements.

Billy is survived by two sisters, Della Ann Lancaster, of Coffeeville, Miss., and Pam Willoughby, of North Carolina, and numerous friends.
