Officers with the Oxford Police Department received a walk-in report at noon on Nov. 9 regarding a domestic violence incident that occurred earlier that morning at approximately 3 a.m. at an apartment complex.

The victim filed charges against Ashton-Drake Greer, 20 of Kosciusko, for domestic violence-aggravated assault due to strangulation. Greer was located at his residence and arrested on the aforementioned charge.

He was transported to the Lafayette County Detention Center, where he was given a bond of $20,000 by a Justice Court Judge.
