A man who was last seen near the Lafayette County and Union County line is still missing, according to Union County Sheriff Jimmy Edwards.

Scott McQuary, 49, has made no contact with his family since Friday and was last seen on Saturday morning, according to Edwards. McQuary lives near the West Union Attendance Center, located on Highway 30 in Myrtle.

According to Edwards, McQuary is a construction worker and was paid on Friday but his paycheck has yet to be cashed. McQuary’s cell phone is either turned off or dead and he drives a 2003 gray Chevrolet Silverado truck with tag number UNI 5324.
