Helene R. Starnes of Shreveport, La., died Sunday, Jan 5, 2020. Born in Germany August 12, 1928, she was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, William N. Starnes, CMSgt USAF Ret., of Denmark, Miss. 

She is survived by William N. Starnes Jr.  of South Carolina, Regina L. Starnes of Texas, Katherina H. Pope of Louisiana, and, Russell G. Starnes of Oregon, Christina M. Cabell of Louisiana, 7 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, Jan 20, 2020, at Springdale Free Will Baptist Church, 1429 Highway 334, Oxford, MS. Burial will be at Springdale Cemetery.
