Woman arrested for felony child neglect
A woman is facing a felony neglect charge following the birth of her child.
On Jan. 13, The Lafayette County Sheriff’s Department arrested Tiyanna Gillom, 28 of Lafayette County, who had an ongoing case with the sheriff’s department and child protective services. Upon the birth of her child, Gillom was arrested after her child tested positive for marijuana.
Bond was set at $2,500 by a Justice Court Judge and Gillon was released on bond on Jan. 14.
