With the announcement of Landshark Delivery being acquired by Bite Squad, another small business is taking advantage.
On Monday, Fetcht Delivery made its announcement of being Oxford’s only locally owned service and offering immediate availability for residents and students.
“Fetcht Delivery is the only locally owned and operated food/restaurant delivery service available to Oxford and Lafayette County,” said Fetcht Delivery co-owner Kent Breckenridge in a statement. “We provide a more personal and professional service to our customers than these larger corporations.”
With the merger of Landshark and Bite Squad, Breckenridge said it allowed for more visibility of his small business. Founded in 2018, Fetcht Delivery was started by Breckenridge and his son, deYampert Garner II, who is a sophomore accounting student at Ole Miss. The pair saw a need in Oxford, he said, and opened the food delivery service.
Currently, 30 local restaurants are available through Fetcht and more are expected to be added weekly. Several locally-owned restaurants that are offered through the service include South Depot Taco Shop, Bim Bam Burgers and Saint Leo.
Orders can be made through their website, fetchtdelivery.com or by using their smartphone app.
