The Lafayette County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a wreck at County Road 387, which resulted in one death.

On March 22, the sheriff’s department was dispatched to County Road 387, near County Road 386. Upon arrival, they found a white sedan off the roadway. The wreck involved one vehicle, and the driver of the vehicle lost their life due to the wreck.

The wreck is still under investigation, and no foul play is suspected at this time, according to the sheriff’s department. They are not releasing the name of the person involved at this time.
