On September 15th, 2021, the Oxford Police Department took a report where Matthew Keith Nichols, 34, of Oxford, was sending multiple harassing messages to somebody and refused to stop when asked.

Nichols was arrested on a charge of Cyberstalking. On October 27th, 2021, Nichols was taken into custody.

A circuit court judge issued Nichols a $15,000 bond.
