On Saturday, the Oxford Police Department responded to a business in the 2200 block of Jackson Avenue for reported gunshots.

After an investigation, Jesse Dean, 22, of Lafayette County was charged with drive-by shooting.

Dean was taken before a Lafayette County Justice Court judge for his initial bond hearing and issued a $40,000 bond.
