The Great Benjamin’s Circus is in town with shows Friday and Saturday at 4;30 p.m. and Sunday at 11 a.m. at the Lafayette County Arena. The circus will feature acrobats, jugglers and more. Tickets are available at the door.

Theater Oxford presents Peppermint Bear and the Toy Elves Friday at 6 p.m., Saturday at 2 p.m. and 5 p.m.

Ole Miss Rebels Men’s Basketball will host Penny Hardaway’s University of Memphis Tigers at the Pavilion on Saturday afternoon. This is a sold out game, the first of the season. The rivalry between these two teams is fierce, as the schools are only 71 miles apart. Tip off is at 1 p.m., so traffic around the University will be something to take into consideration.
