On Saturday, Dec. 23, the eve of Christmas Eve, workers with Oxford’s Environmental Services Department roamed the streets looking for those ubiquitous piles of leaves.

In the case of a large heap on North 11th Street, the fancy vacuum truck ingested those leaves in five minutes flat.
