Oxford to see sunny days, possible showers midweek

Today’s weather will be sunny with a high near 50°F, accompanied by a west southwest wind around 10 mph. The night is set to remain mostly clear with temperatures dropping to a low of around 32°F, and south southwest winds of 5 to 10 mph.

The outlook for Sunday, Dec. 31, includes increasing clouds with a high near 57°F. The wind will continue from the west southwest at a speed of 5 to 10 mph. By Sunday night, the skies will turn mostly cloudy, and temperatures are expected to fall to around 31°F. Winds will shift from west northwest to north after midnight.

New Year’s Day will greet Oxford with sunny skies and a high near 46°F. North winds will blow at around 10 mph. Clear conditions will persist into Monday night, with the low temperature around 25°F.

As the week progresses, Tuesday, Jan. 2, will be mostly sunny with a high near 49°F and an east wind around 5 mph. However, there’s a 30 percent chance of showers after midnight, with mostly cloudy conditions and a low around 32°F.

Showers are more likely on Wednesday, Jan. 3, with a 60 percent chance of precipitation. The day will be mostly cloudy with a high near 45°F.
