The Lafayette County Fire Department and Lafayette County Sheriff’s department responded to an accident on Hwy 7 north around 2:30 p.m.  Lafayette County EMA urged people not to be on the roads and reported ice on bridges.

The county road department is now putting rocks and salt on bridges. MDOT will take care of bridges on the highway

Conditions will continue to be affected by the winter storm. If you must be on the road, please use extreme caution.
