The Lafayette County Sheriff’s Department reports that since light precipitation is now falling in Lafayette County, roadways will continue to be impacted and remain dangerous.

This situation will not let up any time soon, since temperatures will not be above freezing again until Sunday or Monday, according to the National Weather Service.
