On Feb. 7, 2024, the Lafayette County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division arrested Willie Sisk, 53, of Oxford for possessing a firearm.

Investigators were conducting a follow-up investigation when they came into contact with Sisk. Sisk was in possession of a firearm and he is a previously convicted felon.

Sisk was charged with one count of Felon in Possession of a Firearm and transported to the Lafayette County Detention Center. He was later issued a $5,000.00 bond by a Justice Court judge.
