On March 11, the Oxford Police Department took a walk-in report regarding the exploitation of a vulnerable adult.

After investigation, Sherika Nelson, 29, of Sardis was arrested and charged with Exploitation of a Vulnerable Person.

Nelson was taken before a Municipal Court judge for her initial bond hearing and released on her own recognizance.
