Dallas couple charged in tire slashing

On March 17, the Oxford Police Department responded to a call reporting malicious mischief in the 100th block of Heritage Drive. A car’s tires were slashed, causing more than $1,000 worth of damages.

Upon review of camera footage at the location and surrounding area and upon further investigation, Lisa Phillips, 22, of Dallas and Ashton Arterberry, 20, of Dallas were each arrested and charged with Felony Malicious Mischief.

Phillips and Arterberry were taken before a Municipal Court judge for an initial bond hearing and were each issued a $4,000 bond.
