Events from Thursday to Saturday across Oxford

The Easter Bunny will be hopping back to Oxford this weekend, dropping off eggs at various egg hunts on Saturday before he makes his long trek around the world to fill baskets before the sun comes up on Easter Sunday.

He made an early visit to mTrade Park last Tuesday for the Oxford Park Commission’s annual egg hunt.

Get a jump on the egg gathering at the Boys and Girls Club of Oxford from 3:30-5:30 p.m. Thursday. There will be a magic show, a temporary tattoo station, and of course, an egg hunt. It’s located at 413 Washington Ave.

NE Sparc will be hosting a community-wide Easter egg hunt at 10 a.m. on Saturday at Avent Park.

The hunt will take place after the Super Hero Run that benefits CASA of Lafayette County. You do not need to participate in the run to take part in the egg hunt. The event is free and open for everyone.

At noon on Saturday, buzz over to Clear Creek Baptist Church for some barbecue, games and 800 eggs filled with candy and stickers. It’s located at 46 County Road 313.
