Lady Chargers fall to Lewisburg 2-0

The Oxford Chargers softball team fell 2-0 to the Lewisburg Patriots on the road Thursday.
Oxford (8-10, 3-1) was held to three hits in the game. Addy Shorter, MC King and AF Leflore collected them.
Lewisburg scored a run in the first and a run in the third.
The Chargers had Paisley Walls in the circle facing Lewisburg. Walls pitched 6.0 innings and allowed two runs on nine hits with two walks and three strikeouts.
Oxford softball returns to action on Friday at Pontotoc. The first pitch is set for 11 a.m.
