Local ladies are invited to attend the free Lady Landowners seminar and luncheon next week.

The event will be held at noon May 9 at the Lafayette County Extension Office, 70 F. D. Buddy East Parkway.

Following lunch, Molly Nanny will discuss the importance of backyard conservation with hummingbirds, wild birds, butterflies and bees.

The MSU Extension Office, USDA Natural Resource Conservation Service and the Lafayette County Soil and Water Conservation District are sponsoring the event.
