An Oxford man was arrested recently for burglary after it was caught on camera.

On May 4, the Oxford Police Department responded to a call on Christman Drive for a burglary in progress that could be seen on the owner’s security camera.

Officers were able to locate the suspect on the scene. He was later identified as Jesus Antonio Torres Aguilar, 28, of Oxford.

Aguilar was arrested and charged with burglary – breaking and entering.

Aguilar was taken before a Municipal Court judge for his initial bond hearing and was issued a $10,000 bond.
