Grab the family and head over to Tula this Saturday for some toe-tapping music and a step back in time to simpler times.

The Tula Opry building was rebuilt around 2010 by Rusty Pinion on friends and turned into a gathering place for Tula residents where folks gathered a few times a year to listen to bluegrass, county and gospel music.

The Tula Opry House is located at 225 County Road 436, off Highway 331 in southeastern Lafayette County.

The show begins at 6 p.m. at the Opry.

The show is free admission. A bucket is passed for donations to help pay for refreshments and to keep the lights on.
