A Lafayette County man is dead after his automobile overturned during a one-car accident Tuesday night, according to Lafayette County Sheriff’s Office.

Police arrived on the scene of a report of an accident at around 7:20 p.m., according to the Sheriff’s Office, and found Charles Collier, 32, at the scene of the wreck on County Road 415 when they arrived.

The Sheriff’s Office confirmed that Lafayette County Coroner Rocky Kennedy pronounced Collier dead at the scene of the accident.

Collier was reportedly driving on County Road 415 and ran off the road for unknown reasons, according to the Sheriff’s Office.

The Sheriff’s Office said an investigation is ongoing, however they have determined no one else was at fault in the accident.
