Cliffie Mae Bright, 76, of Courtland, died Tuesday, Sept. 1, 2015, at her residence. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. today in the Martin Willingham Memorial Chapel of Wells Funeral Home in Batesville with the Rev. Clay Baker officiating. Interment will be at Terza United Methodist Church cemetery. Visitation will be noon until service time at Wells Funeral Home, which is in charge of arrangements.

Born in Coffeville, she was a member of the Angel Adult Center.

She is survived by seven daughters, Mary Nelson of Water Valley, Betty Johnson of Minneapolis, Minnesota, Martha Bland of Sledge, Patricia Bright of Courtland, Cathy Bright of Crowder, Sheila Turner of Courtland and Barbara Winter of Batesville; sons, Terry Bright and Danny Bright, both of Courtland; three sisters, Jewel Christine Johnson of Courtland, Ruby Dean Sullivan of Sardis and Vivian Lee Hawkins of Water Valley; 20 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.
