A listing of local burglaries supplied by law enforcement agencies to warn residents to take extra security precautions:

— The Oxford Police Department reported a residential burglary on Laurel Cove.

— The Lafayette County Sheriff’s Department reported one vehicle burglary on County Road 309.

Oxford Police

Officers investigated nine wrecks, issued 48 tickets and made 18 arrests on the following charges:

— Speeding, driving while license suspended, no insurance and possession of less than 30 grams of marijuana

— Seven for public intoxication

— Careless driving, minor in possession of alcohol and DUI

— Speeding and DUI

— Public intoxication and fake ID

— Public intoxication, fake ID and possession of drugs

— Five for open container of alcohol

— Speeding and reckless driving

Officers investigated the following reports:

— Six improper parking complaints

— Three noise violations

— Three suspicious activities

— Three alarms

— Two disturbances

— Three welfare checks

— Animal complaint

— Malicious mischief

— Simple assault

— Code violation

— Motorist assist

— 911 hang-up

— Burglary (See above)

University Police

Officers investigated four wrecks, made four arrests for public drunkenness and investigated the following reports:

— Two service calls

— Larceny

— Fraud

— Three for trespassing

— Three for possession of drug paraphernalia

— Disturbance

Sheriff’s Department

Deputies investigated one wreck and the following reports:

— Two alarms

— Vehicle burglary (See above)

— Disturbance

— Two for domestic violence

— Harassment

— Juvenile complaint

— 13 service calls

— Five suspicious activities

— Two welfare checks

— Trespassing

— Traffic complaint
