HOLLY SPRINGS — Sheila Shannon, 60, died Thursday, Dec. 10, 2015, at her home in Holly Springs. Funeral services will be today at 1 p.m. at Bethlehem Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, with interment in the church cemetery. Visitation will be today from 11 a.m. until service time at the church. Coleman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Born in Holly Springs, she had lived in that area most of her life. She and her husband were self-employed. Crochet, arts and crafts were things that she enjoyed doing. She was a member of the Bethlehem Church of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Helen Moore.

She is survived by her husband, Johnny Shannon of Holly Springs; a son, Stacy Johnson of Walnut; three brothers, David and Kenneth Stanton, both of Potts Camp, and Richard Stanton of Tennessee; four sisters, Betty Clarkson of Waterford, Wilma Allen of Lamar, Ruth Johnson of Bebe, Arkansas and Jo Ann Feasle of Byhalia; and three grandchildren.
