WATER VALLEY — Hilda Jones Kenneth, 84, died Tuesday, March 22, 2016, at Yalobusha General Nursing Home in Water Valley. A graveside service will be held on Saturday at 3 p.m. in the Elam Cemetery in Coffeeville with Bro. Keith Burney officiating. Visitation will be on Saturday from 1:45 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Seven Oaks Funeral Home in Water Valley, which is in charge of arrangements.

Born in Coffeville, she was of the Methodist faith and was a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She loved to cook and enjoyed working outside in her flower and vegetable gardens.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 25 years, Melvin Kenneth; daughter Margaret Sadler; and sisters Helen Brown and Jane Breland.

She is survived by daughters Helen Lane of Cascilla and Doris Shaw of Senatobia; six grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
