When does the Democratic National Convention start? Dates, times, speakers

When does the Democratic National Convention 2016 start?

It’s just around the corner, as Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is expected to get the Democratic nomination for president at the DNC 2016.

The Democratic National Convention starts on Monday, July 25 and runs through Thursday, July 28.

It will be held in Philadelphia.

The DNC 2016 starts at 2 p.m. central time on Monday July 25.

CSPAN will broadcast the entire convention from start to finish so that’s a good option for TV channel viewing. Primetime broadcast times will vary each night.

There’s little doubt Hillary Clinton will get the nomination but the suspense remains as to who Clinton’s vice president running mate will be. Stay tuned.

First Lady Michelle Obama and Sen. Bernie Sanders are scheduled to speak on Monday.

Tuesday’s keynote speaker is scheduled to be former President Bill Clinton.
